Section 123A.2, subsection 3, Code 2015, is 1 amended by striking the subsection and inserting in lieu 2 thereof the following: 3 3. “Beer” means beer or high alcoholic content beer as 4 defined in section 123.3. 5 EXPLANATION 6 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 7 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 8 The bill provides that beer, for purposes of Code chapter 9 123A concerning beer brewers and wholesalers, means beer or 10 high alcoholic content beer as defined in Code chapter 123. 11 The current definition of beer in Code chapter 123A does not 12 include high alcoholic content beer. 13 -1- LSB 1435YC (2) 86 ec/nh 1/ 1
