The Iowa DNR Fish & Wildlife Division is run solely off of license sales, grants and user fees, not tax dollars. The people will decide what they should and should not be spending their money on by purchasing or not purchasing licenses to recreate. The legislature should stop trying to defund, control and manipulate the DNR through legislation aimed solely at control. Outdoor recreation is a Billion dollar industry, let them do their jobs that the users pay for, not the taxpayers.
