Oppose hf102. What happened to republicans upholding the constitution and wanting a limited government? 1. This bill isn't conservative OR limited government.2. This bill interferes with justice and the right to due process protected by our Constitution.3. This bill denies the injured or even worse, the deceased, the right to receive what is often necessary to take care of them due to medical errors. 4. This bill is needed because the medical industry is the third leading cause of death in America due to medical error.5. Informed consent is severely lacking in the medical industry, and the AMA is NOT ensuring physicians are following their own code of ethics. This means the citizens have to have a way to protect themselves and hold doctors who are being negligent accountable through civil action or through the board of medicine, which unfortunately is run by an agency unaccountable to the people. Please decline this bill for all the people in Iowa who have been injured, misdiagnosed, or killed due to medical malpractice!
