Please do not support HF 632. While public health professionals and health care professionals fight a pandemic that has killed thousands of Iowans, legislators are considering bills that promote vaccine hesitancy. Future outbreaks are inevitable leading to further burdening an already burnout and beaten down workforce. Not to mention the costs associated with outbreak investigation and lost worker productivity. Consider also, the millions of dollars invested in recruiting and retaining healthcare professionals to Iowa's anemic workforce. Would you move or stay in a state that passes policies to make your work harder and undermine your professional expertise? These are bad bills, especially HF 632 and the ones that the Senate are passing out. Support public health and health care by voting no.

Please do not move forward HF632. It is a completely unnecessary bill. Public health and healthcare workers are currently dealing with a pandemic. This is another bill that will only serve to add to vaccine hesitancy. We need to maintain a strong community immunity to vaccine preventable diseases to avoid a pandemic for diseases such as measles. Please do not support this bill.
