This language was also submitted to the subcommittee chair of HSB 56/HF 523, Representative Kaufmann, to offer additional flood mitigation language, "reconnection of floodplains, wetland and oxbox restoration," to the bill language. This suggested amendment is attached to this public comment and has been emailed to the members of the subcommittee this morning.
