This bill seems to be out of step with current policy at nursing homes across the country. Smoking is prohibited in nearly every facility in the county. As I recall, there were issues raised about smoking, even with added restrictions, at IVH. VNRC does not support this bill in its current form. Our preference is a bill reflects the smokefree policy in effect at other like facilities.
