Chad Brewbaker [Dallas County Libertarians]

Both the Secretary of State and Auditor are having a hard time enforcing Iowa Code 13.7 prohibition on State owned corporations hiring private law firms without Governor's Executive Council approval.IPTV follows the law, but several Iowa owned corporations are not. I see no Iowa Code 13.7 approval on $35,000 in legal fees taken from the Iowa State University Foundation and donated to Chet Culver's opponent in the Iowa Democrat Governor Primary.State of Iowa owned corporations must be ordered to inform the Secretary of State that they are State owned so the Auditor's Office can provide Iowa Code 13.7 oversight.
