Charge

Examine the responsibilities and effectiveness of the councils of governments, the regional economic development centers, the small business development centers, and other programs administered by the regents, community colleges, and the Department of Economic Development to evaluate their effectiveness and potential overlap of services. Make recommendations to the Legislative Council for the most effective coordination of programs and service delivery, including the examination of proposals for the consolidation, regionalization, or elimination of programs.
