Iowa Law Enforcement Academy Facility Analysis (J)

Charge

Issue a request for proposals to contract for an independent entity to analyze and make recommendations for an optimal site and facilities for the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. The analysis shall address the considerations necessary for relocating the academy. The cost of the analysis shall not exceed $150,000.



Note: On 12/8/2008, the Legislative Council acted to cancel the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy Facility Analysis Interim Committee, commenting that state budget conditions would have precluded expenditures to address the results of the study. The Interim Committee did not meet.
