524.1412 Publication of notice.

The national bank shall publish a notice of its intention to deliver, or the delivery of, the articles of conversion to the superintendent, once each week for two successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation published in the municipal corporation or unincorporated area in which the national bank has its principal place of business, or if there is none, a newspaper of general circulation published in the county, or in a county adjoining the county, in which the national bank has its principal place of business. The notice shall appear prior to, or within seven days after, the date of delivery of the articles of conversion to the superintendent and shall set forth:

1. The name of the national bank and the name of the resulting state bank.

2. The location and post office address of its principal place of business.

3. A statement that articles of conversion are to be, or have been delivered to the superintendent.

4. The purpose or purposes of the resulting state bank.

5. The date of delivery of the articles of conversion to the superintendent.
