1 1 Section 1. Section 483A.21, Code 2003, is amended by
1 2 adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
1 3 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. The department may revoke a
1 4 license for nonpayment of the fee for that license required by
1 5 section 483A.1. The department may adopt rules to implement
1 6 this paragraph.
1 7 EXPLANATION
1 8 This bill allows the department of natural resources to
1 9 revoke a fishing or hunting license issued under Code chapter
1 10 483A for nonpayment of the fee for that license that is
1 11 required to be paid pursuant to Code section 483A.1. The
1 12 department may adopt administrative rules regarding the
1 13 procedural requirements to revoke the licenses for nonpayment
1 14 of fees.
