  1  4 RELATING TO A REVIEW OF STATISTICAL INFORMATION COMPILED BY
  1  5    THE BOARD OF EDUCATIONAL EXAMINERS FROM PRAXIS II EXAMIN-
  1  6    ATIONS ADMINISTERED TO INITIAL, PROVISIONAL TEACHING LICENSE
  1  7    APPLICANTS.

  1  9 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1 10 
  1 11    Section 1.  Section 284.12, subsection 4, Code 2003, is
  1 12 amended to read as follows:
  1 13    4.  The board of educational examiners shall compile
  1 14 statistical information from the results of the examinations
  1 15 administered pursuant to section 272.2, subsection 16, Code
  1 16 2003.  The information compiled shall identify the
  1 17 practitioner preparation programs from which the applicants
  1 18 graduated, but shall not identify applicants individually.
  1 19 The statistical information compiled by the board pursuant to
  1 20 this subsection is a public record.  The board shall submit a
  1 21 review of the statistical information to the chairpersons and
  1 22 ranking members of the senate and house committees on
  1 23 education and the state board by December 1, 2003 January 15,
  1 24 2004.  This subsection is repealed effective June 30, 2004.
