PAG LIN 1 1 Section 1. Section 455A.13, unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 1 2 2003, is amended to read as follows: 1 3 Notwithstanding section 17A.2, subsection 11, paragraph 1 4 "g", the department of natural resources shall adopt 1 5 administrative rules establishinga range ofprices of plant 1 6 material grown at the state forest nurseriesto coverthat 1 7 will result in reimbursing the department for all expenses 1 8 related to the growing of the plants plus a twenty-five 1 9 percent margin. 1 10 Sec. 2. NEW SECTION. 481A.79 STATE FISH NURSERIES AND 1 11 HATCHERIES. 1 12 Notwithstanding section 17A.2, subsection 11, paragraph 1 13 "g", the department of natural resources shall adopt 1 14 administrative rules establishing prices of fish stock hatched 1 15 and grown at the state fish nurseries and hatcheries that will 1 16 result in reimbursing the department for all expenses related 1 17 to the hatching and growing of the fish plus a twenty-five 1 18 percent margin. 1 19 EXPLANATION 1 20 This bill provides that the department of natural resources 1 21 shall adopt administrative rules that establish prices for the 1 22 sale of plant material from state forest nurseries and fish 1 23 stock from state fish nurseries and hatcheries that result in 1 24 reimbursing the department for all expenses related to the 1 25 growing of the plants or fish plus a 25 percent margin. 1 26 LSB 1607XS 80 1 27 av/sh/8
