1 1 Amend Senate File 2295 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 2, line 32, by inserting after the word
1 3 "school" the following: "and shall prioritize the
1 4 providing of such scholarships and grants to students
1 5 from families whose incomes are less than three
1 6 hundred percent of the federal poverty level, as
1 7 defined by the most recently revised income guidelines
1 8 published by the United States department of health
1 9 and human services".
1 10 #2. Page 3, line 10, by inserting after the word
1 11 "students" the following: "and who are from families
1 12 with incomes of less than three hundred percent of the
1 13 federal poverty level".
1 14 #3. Page 3, by inserting after line 20 the
1 15 following:
1 16 "7. The department shall annually file a report
1 17 with the chairpersons and ranking members of the
1 18 senate and house committees on ways and means
1 19 detailing a compilation of the information received
1 20 from the reports of all school tuition organizations
1 21 filed pursuant to the requirements of subsection 6."
