  1  1    Amend Senate File 2149, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 2 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 99B.7, subsection 3, paragraph
  1  6 a, Code Supplement 2003, is amended to read as
  1  7 follows:
  1  8    a.  A person wishing to conduct games and raffles
  1  9 pursuant to this section as a qualified organization
  1 10 shall submit an application and a license fee of one
  1 11 hundred fifty dollars.  The annual license fee for a
  1 12 statewide raffle license shall be one hundred fifty
  1 13 dollars.  However, upon submission of an application
  1 14 accompanied by a license fee of fifteen dollars, a
  1 15 person may be issued a limited license to conduct all
  1 16 games and raffles pursuant to this section at a
  1 17 specified location and during a specified period of
  1 18 fourteen consecutive calendar days, except that bingo
  1 19 may only be conducted once per each seven consecutive
  1 20 calendar days of the specified period.  In addition, a
  1 21 qualified organization may be issued a limited license
  1 22 to conduct raffles pursuant to this section for a
  1 23 period of ninety days for a license fee of forty
  1 24 dollars or for a period of one hundred eighty days for
  1 25 a license fee of seventy-five dollars.  For the
  1 26 purposes of this paragraph, a limited license is
  1 27 deemed to be issued on the first day of the period for
  1 28 which the license is issued."
