1 1 Amend Senate File 2298 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 177, by inserting after line 25, the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. . Section 85.36, Code 2003, is amended by
1 5 adding the following new subsection:
1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 5A. In the case of a school
1 7 district employee who is employed pursuant to a
1 8 contract for a specific period of time, and whose
1 9 earnings are paid pursuant to a contract for a
1 10 different period of time than the period of time
1 11 during which the services are performed, the
1 12 employee's weekly earnings shall be based on the
1 13 period of time for which the earnings are paid rather
1 14 than on the period of time during which the services
1 15 are performed."
1 16 #2. By renumbering as necessary.
