  1  1    Amend Senate File 2298 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 154, by inserting after line 4 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "2.  Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys
  1  5 appropriated in this section that remain unobligated
  1  6 or unexpended at the close of the fiscal year shall
  1  7 not revert but shall remain available for expenditure
  1  8 for the hiring and retention of correctional officers
  1  9 until the close of the succeeding fiscal year."
