1 3 #1. Page 2, line 4, by inserting after the figure
1 4 "1." the following: "a."
1 5 #2. Page 2, by inserting after line 12, the
1 6 following:
1 7 "b. The department shall retain moneys from civil
1 8 penalties that it collects under this chapter. The
1 9 moneys are appropriated to the department for the
1 10 administration and enforcement of this chapter.
1 11 Notwithstanding section 8.33, such moneys shall not
1 12 revert, but shall be retained by the department for
1 13 the purposes described in this paragraph. The
1 14 department shall submit a report to the chairpersons
1 15 of the joint appropriations subcommittee on
1 16 agriculture and natural resources by January 5 of each
1 17 year. The report shall state, at a minimum, the total
1 18 amount of moneys collected during the past calendar
1 19 year and describe how these moneys were expended."
1 20 #3. Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
1 21 word "poultry" the following: ", making an
1 22 appropriation,".
