  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5129, to Senate File 2254 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 2 through 19, and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 4, by striking lines 10 through 15,
  1  6 and inserting the following:
  1  7    "9.  An offense under this section requires proof
  1  8 that the person engaging in the act knew or should
  1  9 have known that the victim of the underlying offense
  1 10 was pregnant.
  1 11    9A.  An offense under this section does not require
  1 12 proof that the person engaging in the act intended to
  1 13 cause the death of or bodily harm to the unborn
  1 14 child.""
