  1  1    Amend Senate File 2197 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 8, by striking lines 17 and 18, and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  CONTINGENT EFFECTIVENESS.  This Act
  1  5 shall not take effect unless an appropriation is
  1  6 enacted or the state's share of the cost of this Act
  1  7 is specified in accordance with section 25B.2,
  1  8 subsection 3."
  1  9    #2.  Title page, line 3, by striking the words "and
  1 10 making penalties applicable" and inserting the
  1 11 following:  ", making penalties applicable, and
  1 12 providing for its contingent effectiveness".
  1 13    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
