  1  1    Amend Senate File 2187 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by striking lines 14 through 19, and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "NEW PARAGRAPH.  d.  Make an annual certification
  1  5 of compliance with this section.  For any year in
  1  6 which the city or municipal utility is not audited in
  1  7 accordance with section 11.6, the city or municipal
  1  8 utility shall contract with or employ the auditor of
  1  9 state or a certified public accountant certified in
  1 10 the state of Iowa to attest to the certification.  The
  1 11 attestation report shall be a public record for
  1 12 purposes of chapter 22."
