1 1 Amend Senate File 2032 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 23, the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. ___. SHARE THE ROAD PROGRAM. The state
1 5 department of transportation shall develop a
1 6 competitive grant program for cities and counties to
1 7 acquire "share the road" signs. For each of the
1 8 fiscal years beginning July 1, 2004, July 1, 2005, and
1 9 July 1, 2006, the department shall allocate, from
1 10 funds appropriated to the department for highways, the
1 11 amount of five hundred thousand dollars to fund the
1 12 grant program."
1 13 #2. Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
1 14 word "highways" the following: ", establishing a
1 15 share the road grant program and allocating funds,".
