1 1 Amend Senate File 2032 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Section 1. NEW SECTION. 313.38 BICYCLE LANES –
1 5 APPROPRIATION.
1 6 The department shall develop a plan for adding
1 7 paved bicycle lanes on the shoulder of all primary
1 8 highways in the state, and for including bicycle lanes
1 9 in all construction projects for new sections of
1 10 primary highway. Specifications for the bicycle lanes
1 11 shall require that they be a minimum of six feet in
1 12 width and incorporate gapped rumble strips for bicycle
1 13 safety. The department shall allocate annually from
1 14 the appropriation to the department from the primary
1 15 road fund for construction and maintenance of primary
1 16 highways the sum of twenty-five million dollars for
1 17 bicycle lane construction."
1 18 #2. Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
1 19 word "highways" the following: ", making an
1 20 appropriation,".
1 21 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
