  1  1    Amend Senate File 2070 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  29A.91A  LICENSES,
  1  5 REGISTRATIONS, AND PERMITS – LATE PENALTIES WAIVED.
  1  6    A state agency may adopt rules to provide for
  1  7 administrative waiver of late penalties imposed for
  1  8 failure to renew a license, permit, or registration,
  1  9 or to perform any other obligation subject to a late
  1 10 penalty, for a service member during a period of
  1 11 military service."
  1 12    #2.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
  1 13 word "transportation" the following:  "and other state
  1 14 agencies".
  1 15    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
