1 1 Amend the amendment, S-3392, to House File 683, as
1 2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 33, by striking lines 17 through 41 and
1 5 inserting the following:
1 6 "Sec. . SECURE AN ADVANCED VISION FOR EDUCATION
1 7 FUND APPROPRIATION.
1 8 1. There is appropriated from the grow Iowa fund
1 9 created in section 15G.107 to the department of
1 10 revenue and finance, for the fiscal year beginning
1 11 July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004, the following
1 12 amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used
1 13 for the purpose designated:
1 14 For deposit in the secure an advanced vision for
1 15 education fund created in section 422E.3A, if enacted
1 16 by 2003 Iowa Acts, Senate File 445:
1 17 .................................................. $250,000,000
1 18 2. Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys that
1 19 remain unexpended at the end of a fiscal year shall
1 20 not revert to any fund but shall remain available for
1 21 expenditure for the designated purposes during the
1 22 succeeding fiscal year."
1 23 #2. By renumbering as necessary.
