  1  1    Amend Senate File 451 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 5, by inserting after line 13 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  FUTURE CONTINGENT REPEAL OF PRIMARY
  1  5 ROAD TRANSFER PROVISIONS.  Sections 3, 4, and 8 of
  1  6 this Act, and section 312.3, subsection 2, paragraph
  1  7 "c", as enacted in this Act, are repealed effective
  1  8 July 1, 2008, if the total revenues deposited in the
  1  9 road use tax fund for the fiscal year beginning July
  1 10 1, 2007, equal or exceed the total revenues deposited
  1 11 in the road use tax fund for the fiscal year beginning
  1 12 July 1, 2000.  The treasurer of state shall notify the
  1 13 Code editor at the end of the fiscal year beginning
  1 14 July 1, 2007, regarding the total revenues deposited
  1 15 in the road use tax fund for that fiscal year."
  1 16    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
