  1  1    Amend Senate File 393, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 1 and 2, and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 7E.7, subsection 2, Code 2003,
  1  6 is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    2.  The agricultural development authority as
  1  8 established in section 175.3 shall be considered part
  1  9 of the department of agriculture and land stewardship.
  1 10 The department of agriculture and land stewardship
  1 11 office of treasurer of state.  The office may provide
  1 12 staff assistance and administrative support to the
  1 13 authority."
  1 14    #2.  Page 1, by striking lines 5 through 7, and
  1 15 inserting the following:
  1 16    "1.  a.  The agricultural development authority is
  1 17 established within the department of agriculture and
  1 18 land stewardship office of treasurer of state.  The
  1 19 authority is constituted as a public".
  1 20    #3.  Page 1, line 23, by striking the word "eleven"
  1 21 and inserting the following:  "eleven ten".
