  1  1    Amend House File 516, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 25, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 455G.6, Code 2003, is amended
  1  6 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  7    NEW SUBSECTION.  17.  The board may adopt rules
  1  8 pursuant to chapter 17A providing for the transfer of
  1  9 all or a portion of the liabilities of the board under
  1 10 this chapter.  Notwithstanding other provisions to the
  1 11 contrary, the board, upon such transfer, shall not
  1 12 maintain any duty to reimburse claimants under this
  1 13 chapter for those liabilities transferred."
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
