1 1 Amend Senate File 384 as follows:
1 2 #1. By striking everything after the enacting
1 3 clause and inserting the following:
1 4 "Section 1. Section 12D.2, subsection 12, Code
1 5 2003, is amended to read as follows:
1 6 12. Invest moneys from the endowment fund and the
1 7 program fund in any investments which are with and in
1 8 companies located in Iowa and which are determined by
1 9 the treasurer of state to be appropriate.
1 10 Sec. 2. Section 12D.4, subsection 1, Code 2003, is
1 11 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
1 12 NEW PARAGRAPH. h. All moneys in the program fund
1 13 and the endowment fund that are invested shall be
1 14 invested with companies located in Iowa that make
1 15 investments in companies located in Iowa or shall be
1 16 invested directly in companies that are located in
1 17 Iowa."
1 18 #2. Title page, by striking lines 1 through 3 and
1 19 inserting the following: "An Act relating to
1 20 investments made by Iowa's qualified state tuition
1 21 program."
