1 1 Amend Senate File 316 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Section 1. Section 272.2, subsection 14,
1 5 paragraph b, subparagraph (1), subparagraph
1 6 subdivision (b), Code 2003, is amended by adding the
1 7 following new subparagraph subdivision part:
1 8 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH SUBDIVISION PART. (viii) Sexual
1 9 exploitation by a school employee."
1 10 #2. Page 1, line 21, by inserting before the word
1 11 "contract" the following: "person's".
1 12 #3. Page 1, line 25, by inserting after the word
1 13 "misconduct." the following: "Information reported to
1 14 the board in accordance with this subsection is
1 15 privileged and confidential, and, except as provided
1 16 in section 272.13, is not subject to discovery,
1 17 subpoena, or other means of legal compulsion for its
1 18 release to a person other than the respondent and the
1 19 board and its employees and agents involved in
1 20 licensee discipline, and is not admissible in evidence
1 21 in a judicial or administrative proceeding other than
1 22 the proceeding involving licensee discipline. The
1 23 board shall review the information reported to
1 24 determine whether a complaint should be initiated."
1 25 #4. Page 1, by striking lines 26 through 28 and
1 26 inserting the following: "unless the context
1 27 otherwise requires, "misconduct" means an action
1 28 disqualifying an applicant for a license or causing
1 29 the license of a person to be revoked or suspended in
1 30 accordance with the rules adopted by the board to
1 31 implement section 272.2, subsection 14."
1 32 #5. Page 4, line 23, by striking the word "which"
1 33 and inserting the following: "that".
1 34 #6. By renumbering as necessary.
