  1  1    Amend Senate File 173 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 16, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "requests" the following:  "for salary or wage
  1  4 deductions for payment of dues or membership fees for
  1  5 membership in the same not-for-profit, professional
  1  6 education association".
  1  7    #2.  Page 1, by inserting after line 19 the
  1  8 following:
  1  9    "3.  For purposes of this section, unless the
  1 10 context otherwise requires, "professional education
  1 11 association" means an association in which the
  1 12 majority of members are practitioners licensed in
  1 13 accordance with chapter 272."
