1 1 Section 1. Section 228.1, Code 2003, is amended by adding
1 2 the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 8A. "Psychological test material"
1 4 includes psychological test questions and psychological test
1 5 answers, and instructions for taking a psychological test. It
1 6 does not include raw psychological test scores, instructions
1 7 for interpreting test scores, standardized test score
1 8 interpretations, or a psychologist's interpretations of the
1 9 test scores.
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill provides that psychological test questions and
1 12 answers, and instructions for taking a psychological test are
1 13 not to be disclosed by a person in possession of such
1 14 information to any other person. The bill allows a person in
1 15 possession of psychological test material to disclose raw
1 16 psychological test scores, instructions for interpreting test
1 17 scores, standardized test score interpretations, or a
1 18 psychologist's interpretations of the test scores.
