1 5 WINCKLER, SMITH, REASONER, BOGGESS, GRANZOW,
1 6 HUSEMAN, LENSING, JACOBY, BOAL, HOFFMAN, CONNORS,
1 7 FOEGE, JENKINS, and JONES
1 8 A Resolution recognizing and honoring the families of
1 9 United States military service members for their
1 10 unselfish contributions and sacrifices.
1 11 WHEREAS, the family members of those who serve in
1 12 the United States military services provide essential
1 13 support and unfailing encouragement to their loved
1 14 ones deployed in this country and around the world;
1 15 and
1 16 WHEREAS, military families are diverse, strong,
1 17 resourceful, dedicated, and patriotic; and
1 18 WHEREAS, while military families are often forced
1 19 to make enormous emotional and financial sacrifices,
1 20 they continue to provide comfort and reassurance to
1 21 their serving family members and to each other; and
1 22 WHEREAS, it is the comfort and support of family
1 23 that sustains service men and women and warms their
1 24 hearts while serving during times of war and conflict;
1 25 and
1 26 WHEREAS, it is important to recognize the support
1 27 provided by family members of those in the military as
1 28 such support strengthens the vitality of the United
1 29 States military services and of the nation as a whole;
1 30 NOW THEREFORE,
2 1 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES,
2 2 That the House of Representatives recognizes and
2 3 honors the family members of those who serve in the
2 4 military and expresses deep gratitude for all of their
2 5 unselfish contributions and sacrifices.
