1 4 RELATING TO THE DUTIES OF THE SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION
1 5 DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND LAND

1 8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:

1 10 Section 1. Section 161A.4, Code 2003, is amended by adding
1 11 the following new subsection:
1 12 NEW SUBSECTION. 5. The division, in consultation with the
1 13 commissioners of the soil and water conservation districts,
1 14 shall conduct a biennial review to survey the availability of
1 15 private soil and water conservation control contractors in
1 16 each district. A report containing the results of the review
1 17 shall be prepared and posted on the department's internet
1 18 site.
