  1  4 PROVIDING FOR THE SELLING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, WINE, OR
  1  5    BEER ON CREDIT BY A CONVENTION CENTER, CIVIC CENTER, OR
  1  6    EVENTS CENTER UNDER SPECIFIED CIRCUMSTANCES.

  1  8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  9 
  1 10    Section 1.  Section 123.49, subsection 2, paragraph c, Code
  1 11 Supplement 2003, is amended to read as follows:
  1 12    c.  Sell alcoholic beverages, wine, or beer to any person
  1 13 on credit, except with a bona fide credit card.  This
  1 14 provision does not apply to sales by a club to its members,
  1 15 nor to sales by a hotel or motel to bona fide registered
  1 16 guests, nor to retail sales by the managing entity of a
  1 17 convention center, civic center, or events center.
