1 4 RELATING TO LICENSING OF NONRESIDENT BAIT DEALERS AND
1 5 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

1 7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:

1 9 Section 1. Section 483A.20, Code Supplement 2003, is
1 10 amended to read as follows:
1 11 483A.20 RECIPROCITY.
1 12 Licenses for bait dealers or for fishing, hunting, or fur
1 13 harvesting shall not be issued to residents of states that do
1 14 not sell similar licenses or certificates to residents of
1 15 Iowa. However, this requirement is not applicable to the
1 16 licensing of nonresident wholesale bait dealers who sell to
1 17 licensed wholesale bait dealers in Iowa for resale.
1 18 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act takes effect upon
1 19 enactment.
