1 1 Section 1. LIGHTING OF MONUMENTS – APPROPRIATION. There
1 2 is appropriated from the rebuild Iowa infrastructure fund to
1 3 the department of administrative services for the fiscal year
1 4 beginning July 1, 2004, and ending June 30, 2005, the
1 5 following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be
1 6 used for the purpose designated:
1 7 For lighting of the soldiers and sailors monument and the
1 8 Allison monument on the capitol complex, notwithstanding
1 9 section 8.57, subsection 5, paragraph "c":
1 10 .................................................. $ 50,000
1 11 Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys appropriated in this
1 12 section that remain unencumbered or unobligated at the close
1 13 of the fiscal year shall not revert but shall remain available
1 14 for expenditure for the purposes designated until the close of
1 15 the succeeding fiscal year.
1 16 EXPLANATION
1 17 This bill appropriates $50,000 from the rebuild Iowa
1 18 infrastructure fund to the department of administrative
1 19 services for FY 2004-2005 for lighting two monuments on the
1 20 capitol complex.
