  1  4 PROVIDING RESIDENT LICENSE FEES FOR HUNTING, FISHING,
  1  5    TRAPPING, AND RELATED ACTIVITIES TO CERTAIN PERSONS IN THE
  1  6    ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES.

  1  8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  9 
  1 10    Section 1.  Section 483A.1A, subsection 7, paragraph d,
  1 11 Code 2003, is amended to read as follows:
  1 12    d.  Is a member of the armed forces of the United States
  1 13 who is serving on active duty, claims residency in this state,
  1 14 and has filed a state individual income tax return as a
  1 15 resident pursuant to chapter 422, division II, for the
  1 16 preceding tax year, or is stationed in this state.
