1 1 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 1
1 2 By Rants and Myers
1 3 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, THE
1 4 SENATE CONCURRING, That a joint convention of the two
1 5 houses of the 2003 session of the Eightieth General
1 6 Assembly be held on Monday, January 13, 2003, at 1:30
1 7 p.m.; and
1 8 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That at this joint
1 9 convention the votes for Governor and Lieutenant
1 10 Governor be canvassed and the results announced and
1 11 recorded as provided by law.
1 12 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Governor Thomas J.
1 13 Vilsack be invited to deliver his condition of the
1 14 state message at a joint convention of the two houses
1 15 of the General Assembly on Tuesday, January 14, 2003,
1 16 at 10:00 a.m., and that the Speaker of the House of
1 17 Representatives and the President of the Senate be
1 18 designated to extend the invitation to him.
