1 1 Amend the committee amendment, H-8352, to Senate
1 2 File 449, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the
1 3 Senate, as follows:
1 4 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 25 the
1 5 following:
1 6 "Sec. . Section 437A.6, subsection 1, paragraph
1 7 c, Code 2003, is amended to read as follows:
1 8 c. Wind energy conversion property subject to
1 9 section 427B.26 or eligible for a tax credit under
1 10 chapter 476B."
1 11 #2. Page 3, by striking lines 4 through 7 and
1 12 inserting the following:
1 13 "In addition, approval of the application is
1 14 acceptance by the applicant for the assessment of the
1 15 qualified facility for property tax purposes for a
1 16 period of twelve years and approval by the board of
1 17 supervisors for the payment of the property taxes
1 18 levied on the qualified property to the state. For
1 19 purposes of property taxation, the qualified facility
1 20 shall be centrally assessed and shall be exempt from
1 21 any replacement tax under section 437A.6 for the
1 22 period during which the facility is subject to
1 23 property taxation. The property taxes to be paid to
1 24 the state are".
