  1  1    Amend House File 2558 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 1 through 9 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "Section 1.  Section 707.8, subsection 1, Code
  1  5 2003, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    1.  A person who terminates a human pregnancy
  1  7 without the consent of the pregnant person during the
  1  8 commission of a forcible felony is guilty of a class
  1  9 "B" "A" felony."
  1 10    #2.  Title page, lines 1 through 3, by striking the
  1 11 words "crimes against members of the species homo
  1 12 sapiens at any stage of development and making
  1 13 penalties" and inserting the following:
  1 14 "nonconsensual termination of a pregnancy during the
  1 15 commission of a forcible felony and providing a
  1 16 penalty".
