1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8072, to House File 2302 as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 13, by inserting after line 5 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . NEW SECTION. 99F.4D COUNTY
1 6 DISTRIBUTION OF REVENUES.
1 7 If a county receives a portion of revenues from
1 8 gambling games from a licensee of a racetrack
1 9 enclosure that conducts gambling games, the county,
1 10 subject to any agreement in existence as of the
1 11 effective date of this section of this Act, shall
1 12 distribute to cities in the county an amount equal to
1 13 ten percent of the payments to be made each fiscal
1 14 year to the owner of the facility by the lessee of the
1 15 facility, to be distributed to the cities based upon
1 16 the proportion of the total actual value of all tax-
1 17 exempt property in the county which is located within
1 18 cities in the county. The distribution to each city
1 19 in the county shall be determined by the county
1 20 assessor by multiplying the total amount to be paid by
1 21 the owner of the facility to all cities in the county
1 22 by the percentage of the actual value of tax-exempt
1 23 property located in each city as a proportion of the
1 24 total actual value of all tax-exempt property located
1 25 in all cities in the county".
1 26 #2. Page 18, line 20, by inserting after the
1 27 figure "2004" the following: "and less an amount
1 28 equal to ten percent of the payments to be made each
1 29 fiscal year to the owner of the facility by the lessee
1 30 of the facility".
1 31 #3. Page 23, by inserting after line 2 the
1 32 following:
1 33 " . The section of this Act enacting section
1 34 99F.4D, being deemed of immediate importance, takes
1 35 effect upon enactment."
1 36 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
