  1  1    Amend House File 2304 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 29 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 85.36, Code 2003, is amended by
  1  5 adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SECTION.  5A.  In the case of an employee who
  1  7 is employed pursuant to a contract for a specified
  1  8 period of time, but is paid on a pay period basis
  1  9 where the pay periods extend beyond the contract
  1 10 period, the employee's weekly gross earnings shall be
  1 11 computed by dividing the total amount paid to the
  1 12 employee pursuant to the contract by fifty-two."
