  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1517, to House File 683 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 27, line 27, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "payment" the following:  ", other than food which
  1  5 would be qualified for exemption under subsection 57
  1  6 if purchased with a coupon described in subsection
  1  7 57".
  1  8    #2.  Page 27, line 30, by inserting after the word
  1  9 "seller" the following:  ", including food sold by a
  1 10 caterer".
  1 11    #3.  Page 27, line 32, by striking the word
  1 12 ""Prepared".
  1 13    #4.  Page 27, by striking lines 33 through 40 and
  1 14 inserting the following:
  1 15    "(4)  "Prepared food", for the purposes of this
  1 16 paragraph, does not include food that is any of the
  1 17 following:
  1 18    (a)  Only cut, repackaged, or pasteurized by the
  1 19 seller.
  1 20    (b)  Eggs, fish, meat, poultry, and foods
  1 21 containing these raw animal foods requiring cooking by
  1 22 the consumer as recommended by the United States food
  1 23 and drug administration in chapter 3, part 401.11 of
  1 24 its food code, so as to prevent food borne illnesses.
  1 25    (c)  Bakery items sold by the seller which baked
  1 26 them.  The words "bakery items" includes but is not
  1 27 limited to breads, rolls, buns, biscuits, bagels,
  1 28 croissants, pastries, donuts, Danish, cakes, tortes,
  1 29 pies, tarts, muffins, bars, cookies, and tortillas.
  1 30    (d)  Food sold without eating utensils provided by
  1 31 the seller in an unheated state as a single item which
  1 32 is priced by weight or volume."
