  1  1    Amend Senate File 440, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 20, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 294A.25, Code 2003, is amended
  1  6 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  7    NEW SUBSECTION.  11.  Notwithstanding subsection 1,
  1  8 the moneys appropriated for purposes of this chapter
  1  9 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004, and ending
  1 10 June 30, 2005, and for each fiscal year thereafter,
  1 11 shall be increased, at a minimum, by an amount equal
  1 12 to the state percent of growth, established by the
  1 13 general assembly for the next budget year, over the
  1 14 amount appropriated for purposes of this chapter in
  1 15 the previous fiscal year."
  1 16    #2.  Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
  1 17 word "to" the following:  "school districts and".
  1 18    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
