  1  1    Amend Senate File 384, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, line 13, by striking the words "A
  1  4 substitute beneficiary" and inserting the following:
  1  5 "A substitute beneficiary".
  1  6    #2.  Page 2, by striking lines 15 and 16 and
  1  7 inserting the following:  "beneficiary is not older
  1  8 than the original beneficiary."
  1  9    #3.  Page 3, line 6, by inserting after the word
  1 10 "education." the following:  "Payments may be made to
  1 11 the institution, participant, or beneficiary."
  1 12    #4.  Page 3, line 14, by striking the word and
  1 13 figure "and 2" and inserting the following:  ", 2, and
  1 14 3".
  1 15    #5.  Page 3, line 17, by striking the words "up to
  1 16 the date of" and inserting the following:  "up to the
  1 17 date of".
  1 18    #6.  Page 3, by striking line 19 and inserting the
  1 19 following:  "the beneficiary until the participant
  1 20 cancels or transfers the account."
  1 21    #7.  Page 3, by inserting after line 29 the
  1 22 following:
  1 23    "3.  If the beneficiary graduates from an
  1 24 institution of higher education, and a balance remains
  1 25 in the participant's account, the treasurer of state
  1 26 shall pay the balance to the participant."
