  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1224, to House File 595 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 1, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 1, by inserting before line 15, the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "Sec.    .  Section 6A.21, Code 2003, is amended by
  1  8 adding the following new subsection:
  1  9    NEW SUBSECTION.  3.  A county may adopt an
  1 10 ordinance restricting the county from exercising the
  1 11 right of eminent domain over a century farm.  For
  1 12 purposes of this subsection, "century farm" means a
  1 13 farm in which at least forty acres of such farm have
  1 14 been held in continuous ownership by the same family
  1 15 for one hundred years or more.""
  1 16    #2.  Page 1, by inserting after line 1, the
  1 17 following:
  1 18    "#   .  Page 1, by inserting before line 15, the
  1 19 following:
  1 20    "Sec.    .  Section 6A.21, Code 2003, is amended by
  1 21 adding the following new subsection:
