1 6 "Sec. . ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL AMUSEMENT
1 7 DEVICES – SPECIAL FUND. Fees collected by the
1 8 department of inspections and appeals pursuant to
1 9 section 99B.10 for the fiscal years beginning July 1,
1 10 2003, and July 1, 2004, shall be deposited in a
1 11 special fund created in the state treasury. Moneys in
1 12 the fund are appropriated to the department of
1 13 inspections and appeals and the department of public
1 14 safety for administration and enforcement of sections
1 15 99B.10 and 99B.10A, including employment of necessary
1 16 personnel. The distribution of moneys in the fund to
1 17 the department of inspections and appeals and the
1 18 department of public safety shall be pursuant to a
1 19 written policy agreed upon by the departments.
1 20 Notwithstanding section 12C.7, subsection 2, interest
1 21 or earnings on moneys deposited in the fund shall be
1 22 credited to the fund."
