Senate Concurrent Resolution 8 - Introduced
A Concurrent Resolution 1to provide for the business
2of the first extraordinary session of the 2023
3legislative session.
4WHEREAS, Governor Kim Reynolds has convened an
5extraordinary session of the Ninetieth General Assembly
6on July 11, 2023;NOW THEREFORE,
7BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE, THE HOUSE OF
8REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, That pursuant to Joint Rule
93, the business of the first extraordinary session
10of the 2023 legislative session shall be limited to
11the consideration of a bill for an Act prohibiting
12and requiring certain actions relating to abortion
13involving the detection of a fetal heartbeat, and
14including effective date provisions; and any other
15resolutions that either chamber may adopt.
