S.F. _____ Section 1. Section 123.126A, Code 2020, is amended to read 1 as follows: 2 123.126A Canned cocktails —— applicability —— manufacture . 3 1. Unless otherwise provided by this chapter , the 4 provisions of this chapter applicable to beer shall also apply 5 to canned cocktails. 6 2. Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter to the 7 contrary, a manufacturer of beer may obtain and possess 8 alcoholic liquor from the division for the purpose of 9 manufacturing canned cocktails. 10 EXPLANATION 11 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 12 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 13 This bill allows a manufacturer of beer to obtain and possess 14 alcoholic liquor for the purpose of manufacturing canned 15 cocktails. 16 -1- LSB 5918XC (1) 88 ec/rn 1/ 1
